Misconceptions and Half Truths August 17th, 2007Hi.. new here? To get regular updates/news from this site why don't you subscribe to my RSS feed or sign up for email updates. Thanks for visiting!
I just randomly thought this was important for the forums.
Many people view staying fit as just a physical thing which is absolutely wrong.
I agree wholeheartedly that looks don’t mean everything but then again, its not that they mean nothing either.
And staying fit does not add solely to your looks, staying fit means staying strong internally as well as externally, I will explain the connection.
For teenagers:
In my most honest opinion, teenage girls and guys are sexually more enraged and inclined towards looks.
obesity causes inferiority complex when girls don’t think of you as sexy or drool at models with lean bodies.
it decreases confidence heavily which leads to sexual frustration as well as depression.
I for one had depression when I was obese and missed out on a lot of learning towards life because of which.
And without proper guidance, teenagers may have many failed attempts at weight loss too causes the same old thinking ‘I am going to be fat for life. my genes suck blah blah blah’
Moreover, the teenage period is vital for any sport as your growth speed is excessive in teenage so exercise is extremely important.
I have been asked about the relation between height growth and weight lifting which I will discuss in the next article.
Teenagers pretty much take their growth for granted too. Proper nutrition and dieting is extremely important from your teens to ensure a strong body later.
So the recommendations I have for teenagers are:
- Body efficiency routine
- modeling routine
- sports conditioning routine
I was asked by a parent about why the other routine such as stress reduction and meditation were not mentioned for her ‘abnormal kid’
The reason simply being that unlike the grown up minds, a teenage mind will rid itself of depression or other mental traits only by the workouts, proper sleep and nutrition. Teenage minds are sensitive to both insults and compliments.
I can say this because I am seventeen years of age.
So when a teen progresses physically, the results will come and his mind will be happy too.
My depression was cured with my weightloss, call me shallow or something I think looks play a major role.
Work Packages:
This is drastically simple.
The more the energy you have, the later you will exhaust.
I know how hard it is to manage time to workout and look after your nutrition but think of it this way.
Why do men and women lose their sexy figure few years after they start working?
Must you know, Cardio and meditation work as excellent stress busters
stress = metabolism killer.
I think the whole idea becomes very simple when you link things together.
So what does someone with a busy schedule have to do to maintain his/her sexy figure and energy?
many things actually. It also depends whether you want to maintain your current figure or get a new one.
The Former being drastically simple.
Try this: carry a acupressure mat to work, drink more water, take the stairs, just stretch a little every hour, avoid fatty stuff in your diet and walk a little. Just this much might make you lose some weight too.
The later is where all the difficulty comes, for which I suggest:
- Meditation routine (yoga, tai chi, etc)
- Minor aerobic routine
- Weight loss routine
Muscle building routine will be fixed accordingly to your schedule, the hardest part will be managing to work with a kind of tired or changing body, this will go on for two months but with the results you will get used and eventually addicted to such a schedule.
Forty Plus Citizens Routine
This is very hard if you plan to put on muscle but not impossible.
However, if your intention is weight loss I am sure within a period of two years you will get your goals if you follow religiously.
A man in his early 50’s told me the gym wasn’t helping at all.
I am not really surprised with that.
A human body starts dying after the age of 25.
So when a human body reaches its forties, naturally enough the physical capacity has declined so how do we make someone in that age lose weight and increase stamina?
the answer to which lies primarily in nutrition and external sources such as massages, acupressure, acupuncture, yoga, aromatherapy or yoga for atleast six months prior to starting cardio or weights.
The idea being simply that you must be energetic enough to pull off a workout.
recommended routine:
- Senior routine
Its my own created routine.
—————————————————————————————————————————-
The Routines I will be taking:
- Modeling routine
- Obesity killer routine
- Strength gain routine
- Stamina gain routine
- Martial Arts routine
- Football routine
- Sports Conditioning routine
- Meditation routine
- Stress assassin routine
- Anti-depression routine
- Bodybuilder routine
- figure maintenance routine
- six pack routine (only for the show offs)
- Forty plus folk routine
- Weight loss routine
- Body efficiency routine (similar to sports condition but not so brutal)
You can tell me which routine you would like but then again if you don’t know which routine you want, if you have properly given me the information asked on the introduction page, I will decide your routine myself.
If you are wondering how the flying fuck do I know all those routines without having a single degree its very simple.
You just to be able to crosslink things and understand how a body and the rest is common sense.
For example, a footballer needs functional leg strength, low body fat, flexible and strong leg muscles, core co-ordination and balance.
However, a martial artist needs a body which is conditioned, endurable, flexible, balanced, strong and highly functional.
Each exercise or edible things serves a specific purpose.
like: One Legged Squats can be done by both a footballer and a martial artist however not by a normal citizen until atleast 3 months of doing normal squats.
A model may do the type of abdominal workouts which focus on reducing fat and showing lean abs but a martial artist has to have the abs which can take several blows so the exercise assigned is different and so is the diet.
Get my point?
