Heya, many people ask me how I got all that weight down, this is the routine:

first few weeks (at 96 Kgs, 40 waist size):

accupuncture appointments at alternate days.

Diet control:

Reduction of Chappatis from 6 to 2. No more rice, lots of vegetables and fruits throughout the day.

Exercises:

Hatha Yoga, Pranayam, Basic Stretches.

The Doctor had recommended me to go for these in the morning but I twisted and turned every moment, like in the cab, while walking, trying to hang whenever I can.

At this point I used to get really hungry so I ate more raw vegetables.

4 or 6 weeks later:

87 Kgs.

Supplements: Safe or Not?

Posted by Vinesh on December 7th, 2007

Okay, people often have huge debates over this…

Here are my two cents…

Supplements is too generalized a term to begin with.

Its the quality of supplements that comes into question too, I always say go for BSN, Lambrada, Dymatize or ON

The thing is you have to choose what is right for you.

But yeah, most vegetarians will prolly not get the protein required… FUCK YOU, PETA MEMBERS, FUCK YOU! No, VEG FOOD DOESN’T HAVE HIGH PROTEIN % AND DON’T LIE TO THE PEOPLE, YOU ASSHOLES!

erm… yes, the thing is ’supplement’ is a diverse term, it could be:

Argine based (NO EXPLODE n SHOTGUN), Creatine Monohydrate (Many), Whey (Many) , etc.

Now the thing is you need Whey with a good balanced diet to help muscle building, the rest will boost up other factors like energy, speed of increase, blah blah.

and now cometh the question of safety

Whey is safe, completely

its just whey extracted, I mean… pffft…

The other stuff like creatine needs some moderation and should be started after 3-4 months of normal bodybuilding, so should the other ones.

Protein is simply required no matter who you are… so my take is:

‘take supplements but not too carelessly’

Have fun,

Vineshway’s top 10 equipment.

Posted by Vinesh on December 2nd, 2007

Top Ten Equipment according to me:

1.) Swiss Ball

Really, it doesn’t get better than that, just a simple add on for much better definition, strength, flexibility, balance and fun.

2.) Medicine Ball

Now this thing requires power building and its variations in ab exercises almost guarantee a six pack pretty quick and the functional strength is increased a hell lot

3.) Rod

HANG! You’ll get taller! and the abs you can do with a rod are pretty fucking good, so are the results for the upper body by chinups/pullups/etc

4.) Ankle Weights

Awesome leg conditioning, height gain possibility, functional strength, variations helpful in increasing speed, abdominal definition

5.) Free Weights

No comments, they help a lot, can be used for several ways of toning

6.) Skipping rope

the cheapest and one of the most effective cardio machines ever

7.) Stationary Bike/Rowing machine

I saw this & found it awesome, it does both, rowing and cycling… its pretty much worth the price for the good calorie burn and less space consumption

8.) Resistance band

Very compact and can give a pretty efficient workout, you can adjust the difficulty pretty much with common sense

9.) Incline/Decline bench

An awesome aid to increase the speed of muscle making

10.) Keetleball

no comments, its just pretty darn good.
