Trip To Silvassa

Hi.. new here? To get regular updates/news from this site why don't you subscribe to my RSS feed or sign up for email updates. Thanks for visiting!

I thought I would take a break and work on the numerous commitments regarding the videos and photoshoots I promised.

Some of it went better than expected but much of the work, especially relative to the photography bit was left undone.

For starters, the resort was plain crap. I have this policy, either hitchhike and stay in huts or stay in like super five star hotels, I never settle for anything middle.

Of the good things that happened:

  • Excess drinking
  • created a new game, hand party, ping pong/table tennis with fingers (no rackets)
  • Saw a Royal Enfield Taurus
  • Had a few very good videos done.
  • Worked on new methods of teaching, primarily revolving around basics
  • Saw an awesome jeep being sold for dirt
  • Scared some south indians

Over the trip, Silvassa being in Gujarat I noted sucked ass like everything else from Gujarat, there were like 2 girls who were anywhere close to hot there.

In a random note, Kutchis are from Kutch, not gujarat, some retard by the name of vallabhai sexless patel kind of merged states. I am by blood Kutchi and in no way related to Gujaratis and if you ever call me one, find yourself another trainer.

Moving on, the place in terms of scenery couldnt beat the suburbs of Powai, Kalyan, Borivali *courtesy of the mountains* right near home.

The food was frighteningly unhygienic.

The crowd was mostly Gujarati. Period.

I was intending for more work to be done during the time there. Regardlessly, the place just didn’t have any spirit to work and have fun on.

I noted more facts in random, one of them being that you should totally avoid people who take tension, are upset, think too much, I mean they suck, their bad energy will get to you. If you want to make your life fun 24/7, tell the losers to blow themselves and keep yourself in good company.

Be a Wannabe

Posted by Vinesh on July 20th, 2008

I came across a friend a few weeks back who had started gymming, changing attire and stuff. I was really proud for him.

I noted many guys called him a wannabe (of course his fake accent attributed to which)

Now I often think whats a wannabe? whats real? I mean, what you are currently is nothing other than the production of social conditioning with regard to the circumstance you have grown up and the enviornment, finance, cultural and other factors.

YOU MY FRIEND, ARE NOT ORIGINAL ANYWAY!

I mean if you don’t change fearing you’ll be a wannabe, you are nothing but the byproduct of circumstance.

I understand you may not want to change, OK. COOL.  But do not call someone making an effort to be something he wants to be a wannabe, ASSHOLE!

I will openly admit that from age 16-18 I was constantly called a wannabe, loser, faggot, etc etc.

But currently I am right where I want to be. I recall when I was 15, I was not too much into the system of martial arts taught, I decided to try things on my own, for 18 months I was whacked on almost a daily basis.

But I never stopped trying, Now the guys who could take me out when I was 17 can’t even think of laying a finger on me without getting seriously injured in the following second.

They had the same time I did, I mean they were also growing right :D :D but the point is YOU WILL DEFINITELY MAKE MISTAKES.

Which is the price you will pay for getting to the correct thing, infact… its not even a price, its a STEP! I mean sooner or later if you want to do something extravagant, tread on path others haven’t, you WILL make those initial errors, its an eventuality, all I can say is…

ACCEPT YOUR ERRORS AND YOUR DEFEATS VERY VERY PROUDLY AND KEEP GOING! ITS JUST LIKE ONE OF THOSE FAILED LIGHTBULBS THOMAS EDISON MADE BEFORE HE GOT TO THE REAL THING.

So BE A WANNABE!

currently you are at the safe side of being socially accepted, tame, blah blah… if you wanna be something else, you gotta be a wannabe :D. Its the best thing to be.

Tightening loose skin

Posted by Vinesh on June 6th, 2008

Let me guess… you lost a lot of weight, now skin is hanging out?

your face is looking chubby when its not?

People often cruelly suggest surgery but I believe there are other ways around battling loose skin, the only problem is these are more long term.

I would like to suggest surgery for people who have lost more than 60kgs of weight in a short amount of time or lost weight using liposuction.

Nutrition:

What exactly is skin nutrition? I believe a very rich intake of vitamins and minerals, much of these are attained by fruits and vegetables. Multivitamin tabs also help a lot in this cause.

Almonds and Walnuts also end up providing quality good fats for the recovery of the skin.

Exercise:

I want you to especially work your body with heavy weights when you are trying to get rid of loose skin, the reason is that the skin will find is easier to tighten towards the muscle mass which is replaced by the fat and the good nutrition will reinforce required fibers to tighten as much as possible.

Among other things, try out pranayama from yoga, giving the skin oxygen is very important.

Habits:

Frequenting the sauna does pretty good.

if you have loose skin, chubby face what you can certainly do is massage the face; start with clockwise-anticlockwise, use the bottom of the palm and the fingers alternatively.

Use a soap with Aloe extract

For tightening your face, try out facial exercises.
